I'm interested to start reading more books from small presses, really off the wall stuff that you wouldnt be able to find at a Barnes and Noble. I dont know where to start, though. Any recommendations welcome, I have no hang ups about genre or tone or length or anything. Just wanna read some cool books that I haven't heard of.

Do you have a local bookstore besides Barnes & Noble? Small bookstores often are supporting weird small presses! Microcosm Publishing, Greywolf Press, and The Feminist Press come to mind as having published some of my favorites.
If you want to read short stories from small literary journals, I recommend [The Sunlight Press](https://www.thesunlightpress.com/) online. The recent short story they posted with the picture of the holiday lights was particularly enchanting.
If you want to find some really off-the-wall gems… get a Kindle Unlimited subscription and start digging. A lot of it is terrible, but I’ve found some of my favorite authors in there.
The girl in the glass case. I just finished reading this and couldn’t recommend it enough. It’s by an Indian author Devashish Sardana
