I read ALOT of historical/historical fiction and need a change of pace. Seeking a realm I can get lost in. Wouldn’t mind urban fantasy, high fantasy, historical fantasy, magical realism, or even steampunk. Fantasy is mostly a new genre to me and I’d love a trilogy or a series on the shorter size of 4-5 books.
I’ve enjoyed Kevin Hearne’s Iron Druid series in the past (circa 10+ years ago) but while attempting to reread it feels rather mundane and childish (so many sausages).
