From 4th–10th grades, I was constantly reading. I’m hoping to pick that habit back up and was looking for some help. I’ve reread some of the books I loved as a kid, and now I’m looking for suggestions that are more catered to adult readers.
I’m just going to name some books/series that I really enjoyed as a kid:
• The Hunger Games series – Suzanne Collins
• Harry Potter series – J.K. Rowling
• Percy Jackson & the Olympians series – Rick Riordan
• The Black Stallion series – Walter Farley (I didn’t finish all of them; I read the first 6 or so)
• Satch & Me series – Dan Gutman
• Heat – Mike Lupica (baseball novel)
• Black and White – Paul Volponi
• Hatchet – Gary Paulsen
• World War Z – Max Brooks
• The Compound – S.A. Bodeen
• Into the Wild – Jon Krakauer
I’m definitely forgetting some, but these are the ones I remember the most
Based off of this list is there anything you all would suggest?
Edit: sorry for the formatting. I have no clue how to do a bulleted list on Reddit.
