Hey everyone! As the title states, I am in desperate need of books that give off the same feel and setting as Lydia the Bard's album, "The Woods." The songs from her album (found on YouTube and Spotify since I can't link anything here) are absolutely amazing and give me such grand ideas for books, yet I have no idea where to start looking!
I am a lover of all genres — fantasy, dystopian, young adult, and more are all welcome; I will love any suggestions! I really want something that drags me into the story and keeps me interested. I would also prefer it if there were some sort of romance throughout the book (M/F), but not the main focus. I don't mind if there are spicy scenes; it won't bother me in the slightest!
Some books that I have read while listening to this album that gave the same vibe I am looking for:
The Hunger Games series by Suzanne Collins
The Fourth Wing series by Rebecca Yarros
The 5th Wave by Rick Yancey
The 100 series by Kass Morgan
Thank you guys so much!! I can't wait to hear what everyone comes up with!

You might enjoy The Farseer Trilogy by Robin Hobb, the first part in her larger series The Realm of the Elderlings. Beautifully-written, melancholic, epic fantasy, with rich world building and complex, interesting characters. Fitz is the bastard son of a dead prince, and is raised by others in the royal court to become the King’s assassin, among other things. The first book is **Assassin’s Apprentice**, and if you enjoy The Farseer, then the second trilogy in the series is just as good or better, following different characters in the same world: The Liveship Traders.
