Book suggestion for friends birthday

Hi! I am in need of some assistance. My coworker and friends gave me a book for my birthday and I’d like to gift her one for her birthday at the end of January. She’s picky about what she reads, preferring duo or first person POV (only third person books she’s read is Harry Potter and I’ve been unable to convince her to read any others), and she won’t start a series if the rest of the books aren’t out yet. So I am requesting help with finding a standalone either duo or first person POV spicy book, can be dark fantasy etc. THANK YOU IN ADVANCE!!!!
