I’m about to finish my third Vonnegut book and have Catch-22 on my to-be-read shelf that I am eyeing next, but I’ve read that these two authors are pretty similar in their tone and themes, so it might be worth reading something different in between. Any recommendations?

I don’t think they are so similar you can’t go from one to the other
If you’ve not read Gatsby, I’d go there. Short and tangy. Or try some Tom Robbings or Christopher Moore..more modern but fun….
I like the concept of a palette cleanser, but Vonnegut and Heller have quite a lot in common ; it would make more sense to use this palette cleanser when you switch drinks, but , anyways, my recomendation is “House of Leaves”
