I just finished watching the tv series 'The Americans' for the first time and want to pick up a non-fiction book that delves into the lives of spies from that era. I studied the Cold War period in junior college so don't want something generic to that topic, but more so aligned with KGB spies living in America at that time. Thank you!

“A Spy Among Friends” and “The Spy and the Traitor” by Ben Macintyre were both really good.

Seconding The Spy and the Traitor!! Some of it reads like a thriller action movie.
