For comedy/mystery, One for the Money by Janet Evanovich and A Man with One of Those Faces by Caimh McDonnell.
No sex scenes that I recall.

The Sarah Winston Garage sale cozy mystery series is really good, The Finley Donovan series is hilarious. Both main characters are recently divorced.

The Thursday Murder Club mysteries, the Ruth Galloway mysteries, the Jackson Brody mysteries, all very well written with wry humor and little to no sex

Also, so sorry you’re going through this. Everyone I know who has gotten divorced says the first year or two sucks and after that they get much much happier.

I was divorced last year. It gets better slowly; treat yourself to something that will bring you joy.
I don’t have a traditional mystery book to suggest but I’m currently loving Tom’s Crossing by Daniewleski. So far it seems to be a coming of age western adventure that takes place in the 1980s with some ghostly themes. It’s been really great and it’s quite a long book to get lost in. Best of luck!

I find almost anything by Agatha Christie to be soothing and engaging. *And Then There Were None* Is good

I read all of Pd James works while I was going through infertility and it was all very distracting and addicting. No sex stuff really at all. Certainly no sex scenes.
