Loads! Do you care about M/M vs F/F? NB/_? And do you have preferred genres, or maybe just romance?
A good graphic novel that I read at the beginning of the read was Gender Queer by Maia Kobabe
I liked that it was a biography but also full of information and felt relatable even if not every part was something you could say ‘I’ve been through that’. And the art was beautiful!
Song of Achilles by Madeline Miller
I really enjoyed Aristotle and Dante Discover the Secrets of the Universe.
Carol is a more pure romance/love story, more set in real life in the setting, age difference with the main characters.
If you want more plot and spice, The Paying Guests has romance and murder/suspense set in post-war London.
