Can someone suggest some real, unbiased books on African history? I feel like Africa has one of the most ignored and underrated histories ever. Hardly anyone talks about how advanced and powerful those kingdoms once were Mali, Songhai, Benin, Great Zimbabwe, and more. I want to know the real truth, not the version shaped by colonials. The richest man ever lived was African, and that says a lot. I just want to learn what really happened before all the distortion. Any solid book suggestions?
