Hi all!
I read my first Shirley Jackson novel earlier this year, We Have Always Lived in the Castle, and it really wasn't for me (I'd give it maybe a 6/10).
I wanted to gjve her another go, so I picked Hangsaman because it sounded much more up my alley. I'm currently a little over halfway through and I'm really enjoying it.
I'm wondering if y'all can suggest me another Shirley Jackson read that is more in line with Hangsaman rather than We Have Always Lived in the Castle.
I know she has short stories, but I really do prefer novels. I have a hard time sticking to short story collections and find myself abandoning them 100% of the time.

I also didn’t love WHALITC and am currently halfway through The Haunting of Hill House and I’m vibing with it a lot more. Plus it’s only like 100 pages if it turns out not to be your thing.
Her short stories are generally much better than her novels.
The Lottery is a good choice.
