Hello, can I please get recommendations for calm books to fall asleep listening to?

I have found over time that non-fiction works best as they are more likely to not have loud exclamations and various character voices. Preferably something historical or even science based.

I absolutely loved Sapiens by Yuval Noah Harari but I've listened to it every night for a month now. I love that it's interesting enough to keep me engaged and stop my mind from wandering but relaxing enough I can fall asleep with it.

Another book I loved is Endurance by Alfred Lansing.

I've listened to a lot of sleep podcasts but most of them are only around 30 minutes long. I wish I could fall asleep that quickly!
I've tried mythos and heroes by Stephen Fry but the voices are too… engaging i guess.

I have Audible by the way.

    Many thanks!

    1. I love Lisa See for my sleepy time books. She writes historical fiction. Very calm narration. So far, I’ve listened to The Tea Girl of Hummingbird Lane and Lady Tan’s Circle of Women.
