Wasssssup
Right okay so. I'm looking for my next fantasy romance read. Preferably a series. I'm craving really good writing and world building (but not sooo complex that it's hard to picture.) 60:40 plot:romance. A little bit of SMUT if you'd be so kind I love a war on the horizon trope.
Some of the books I've already read:
ACOTAR: I'm kinda obsessed with this book series. I know a lot of people say they're shitty but I've got a soft spot for them because they really got me into the genre.
Forth wing: I hated this book (sorry not sorry) to me the writing read like a fanfiction and the characters felt so distant. I also hated that the dragons could talk and were constantly making little jokes (so cringe)
The Shepard King duology: OMFG PROBABLY ONE OF MY FAVORITE BOOKS EVER. Such good vibes and the writing was immaculate.
From blood and ash: okay so I ate up the first and second book. The third not so much. I didn't even feel like the same author. If I hear one more "I have a question" "none of us are surprised" joke between poppy and Keiran I'll KMS.
Book of Azrael: just started but no my fave so far. There's lots of plot holes and I'm kinda bored of the same enemies to lovers trope. 2000 year old damaged male and sarky, fierce fmc.
Heavenly bodies: A 5/5 for me. Flawless. Loved ever second
I'm gonna start the throne of glass series and in the veins of drowning. Gimmie your best recs
