As I enter my 30s, I’ve been feeling stuck. Caught in my comfort zone, underpaid, and uncertain about what’s next. I’m looking for a book that can help me overcome adversity, break free from mediocrity, and push beyond my limits. I want something powerful enough to spark a real breakthrough in my life.

When you say non-fiction, does that include self-help? I’d like to get a better sense of what you think you’re looking for. And out of curiosity, why aren’t you open to fiction? I’ve found that fiction is more powerful at helping with goals like this.
“On the Line” by Joseph Ponthus. I read the English translation, but it’s an originally French book of autobiographical poetry about Ponthus’ life as a fish/meat factory worker when he can’t find work in his field of study. He never lived to see the book translated to English, as he died of cancer a few months before the English translation was released. It’s a stunning book.
To break from the non fiction constraint, “Stoner” by John Williams is a classic, and would fit this request perfectly
Man’s Search for Meaning, by Viktor E Frankl
Jon Acuff is a great author for this. Try *Do Over* first.
