Can’t remember the last time I read a book start to finish. Even in school I’d zone out or just look up summaries of the books we read. Just finished The Repairer of Reputations in The King in Yellow, and I really want to get into literature. What books do you recommend me read? I’ve literally never read anything, so any recommendations are helpful lol.

If you want something literary, Kurt Vonnegut is really good and his books are short. But honestly, if you want to get into reading, I would start with fun, accessible reads like Harry Potter or Series of Unfortunate Events.
O. Henry is a great classic short story writer
Stardust by Neil Gaiman is good
