I'm looking for an adult (not YA or teen) book that gives Twilight vibes, for lesbian/sapphic readers. Paranormal romance, tension, cheesy, problematic, all of that is ok with me. Just not total trash, it has to actually be enjoyable (even if not a literary masterpiece, haha). Basically I'm just looking to get a little nostalgic, escape, fantasize, and enjoy.
Thank you!

Plain Bad Heroines by Emily M. Danforth. Set at a girls’ boarding school during 1902 where something occult happened and present day in New England, when a movie crew seek to make a film about the events there, only to find weird echoes.
LGBT+ friendly, sapphic romance, paranormal elements. Enjoyable and very good.
Bury our Bones in the Midnight Soil by VE Schwab is the book you are looking for.
Venus Envy
The Fifth Season, by N.K. Jemisin
It’s a trilogy.
A Dowry of Blood by S.T. Gibson. A retelling of Dracula’s brides but sapphic.
Probably the other recommendations are more twilight-esque, but *A Little Sin* by Rawnie Sabor I think would be a good option if you want something with on the spicier side of things. Teenager angst feels comparable to “successful corporate adult who doesn’t know she’s a lesbian and is a complete anxious mess because of her overbearing mom, but no one knows she’s a mess because she keeps it all bottled up inside.” Also there’s a hot masc demon who is a boxing instructor and woodworker.
