I'm 18 and love to read, but haven't had the time of late. Going on a road trip tomorrow, and decided I should get a few books on my kindle. I really like the secret identity trope and the vigilante trope. Any recs welcomed, but if its very mature i'd appreciate a warning.

Steelheart by Brandon Sanderson. It’s a reverse super hero book where everyone with superpowers turns evil. It’s a fun read, and isn’t too long.
i’m decades older than 18 but enjoyed the renegades series by marissa meyer. it features superheroes living among mere mortals
Devil in the pale moonlight by d. Hollis Anderson – a new cyberpunk psycho thriller just released a few months ago, it’s like a black mirror episode, it’s creepy and dark and way too real. Hunting a serial killer through a simulation controlled by Nazis – Batman and joker vibes
Watchmen -Alan Moore
Wild Cards edited by GRRMartin.
Extraordinaries by TJ Klune!
