I loved Making Rumours by Ken Callait about the Fleetwood Mac era/album, and Johnny Cash: The Life by Robert Hilburn. Learning about what inspired the artists, what their lives were like, and how music production & the industry works — all of this was super interesting. Anyone have similar recommendations??
It definitely helps that these are two of my favorite artists. I also love Lynyrd Skynyrd, Frank Sinatra, Michael Jackson, NWA/Ice Cube, etc… Not limited to those artists but it's always more fun to learn about music you're already familiar with.
