But! I need less screen time and everyone is recommending i read.
I don't like to read.
But maybe yall can help me find a book? I like war movies, and comedies. I enjoyed my time playing DnD, so fantasy is on the table as well.

I haven’t read it yet but all my friends are gushing about Dungeon Crawler Carl and it fits your likes perfectly. I’ve also heard the audiobook is amazing. Since you are getting into reading for the first time you could switch back and forth between them.
Why don’t you like reading? What about it bothers you so much that you describe the feeling as hate?
Dungeon Crawler Carl by Matt Dinniman sounds up your alley. You could even try the audiobook as it might be more enjoyable than just sitting down to read.
Getting into graphic novels or comics could be a good start!
Christopher Buehlan’s Daughter’s War if you want perfection and want to kill goblins
This might be the wrong place to suggest this, but if you don’t like reading, why don’t you try another off-screen hobby? Journaling, baking, sewing, drawing, hiking, bird watching, wood burning, etc. Any of those work!
If you are hard set on getting into reading, however, then super cool! Here are some recs:
Dungeon Crawler Carl by Matt Dinniman: This one I actually haven’t gotten around to yet, but so many people have told me it’s good! The premise is that this galaxy-wide game show turns earth into a labyrinth, and people compete to complete the dungeon.
The Adventures of Amina Al-Sirafi by S.A. Chakraborty: One of my fave books I’ve read all year. A high seas adventure in the Indian Ocean that sees a retired pirate come back for one last adventure. To me it plays out like a Pirates of the Carribean DND Campaign!
Hope this helps!
Dungeon Crawler Carl
Try listening to an audiobook while you play your games or do chores 🙂
