Is there a term for books with prose that’s fast paced and not overly descriptive, like in parts of The Fisherman or The Croning?

I’m trying to figure out if this writing style is a genre or sub genre that I can use to find more books.

I love the beginning of The Croning with the Spy, and the flashbacks to Rainer in The Fisherman.

The prose is not overly descriptive. It’s fast paced. You don’t get a lot of internal thoughts and dialogue. But it’s still well written and flows nicely. It just seems more…utilitarian maybe?
