Is there a book like this?

So this is weird but I had a crazy dream last night of this guy who was from this family who said all monsters are bad but then he met this girl who changed his entire ideology. It was a girl who was super sweet, caring and kind. And the guy is more hardened but also deep down super sweet. I know this was just a random dream and not from an actual book or anything I’ve seen but I was hoping someone had a rec similar to this vibe as honestly (the dream I had was both cute yet scary lol (there were so many monsters in the dream some good some bad). Thank you
