hi everyone. I found a post on here a few days ago looking for fantasy recommendations and I wanted to comment, but then I realize that I read more science fiction than fantasy lol
I also realized that even if I did have fantasy recommendations, they were all with male protagonist and/or written by male authors
anyway, I would like to hear your recommendations for fantasy novels or series with this criteria:
• female protagonist/s
• not fantasy romance, but there can be a bit of romance. Kind of like in The Firebird Chronicles by T.A. White where, despite being categorized under scifi romance, the romance is not at all a focus in the story, literally just a subplot lol nothing against fantasy romance, I still enjoy it, but I also want something different
• . has an audiobook because I'm blind
• prefer epic fantasy, but lmk what you have because low fantasy is fine too. bonus if there's a war and the protagonist is fighting/not stuck in politics for most of the book
• bonus if written by a female or queer author, but not a requirement
TIA
