Good historical biographies?

I’m very much a fan of the “Great Man History” thing, and I want to dig into my own heritage, so I’m looking for fun to read biographies about people from Greece, Rome, Great Britain, France, and Germany, (maybe Russia too) specifically! (Yes I’m very white lol) What are some good biographies of interesting people from these places? For reference, I recently read “The Rise of Theodore Roosevelt” by Edmund Morris and it became one of my favorites, so if there’s anything in a similar style please share.
