Deluge. The politics and future climate predictions were fastening but 80% of the characters annoyed the shit out of me

Project Hail Mary was so corny. I am actually looking forward to the movie but the book did not do it for me.

The Knight and the Moth by Rachel Gillig, the premise was interesting (a girl who is a prohpet gets swept on this quest with a knight when all the other girls who Divine with her go missing.)
I thought I would enjoy it bc it seemed like it had a decent mix of fantasy and romance but not too hard into romantasy (nothing against the genre just not my taste). and almost everyone I follow in bookish circles were raving about it.
But the characters didn’t feel resonate enough and the world building and magic felt very wonky to me, like if I thought about it too hard it would all collapse (imo). There came a point where I couldn’t be bothered to read anymore 😭 I know a lot of people liked it though

I swear to god the wrap up for that book was 10,000 years long.

For no particular reason, I have tried to read Educated by Tara Westover 3 different times and it just never sticks for me.

It wasn’t a DNF, but I thought ‘Demon Copperhead’ was overrated.

Lonesome Dove! I want to love it but it just never grabs me despite multiple tries.
