Read As I Lay Dying and The Sound and the Fury 12-15 years ago and struggled with them. Was fine writing Faulkner off since I've got hundreds of books laying around that are on my TBR list, but recently my kid has really enjoyed reading him. He is definitely a more intellectual reader than I am, but I'd like to take another crack at Faulkner and see if I can get more engaged.
Is there an obvious jumping off point to get into him? It's ok if it's one of the two I already read…I'll try them again, but looking for thoughts on what you think I might enjoy(ish).
