Really struggling to get my 8 year old daughter reading.
She likes shows like Scooby Doo, She-ra Princess of Power, Alvin & the Chipmunks, Bluey. She is into princesses, stuffies, dolls.
She started reading something called Itty Bitty Princess Kitty, but appears to have lost interest. I found a lone She-ra graphic novel, but would like to hand her some options.
All suggestions appreciated.
Thanks!

My kids loved The Princess in Black series and the Mercy Watson series.  There is also the Kitty books by Paula Harrison which are beautifully illustrated.
My stepdaughter loved Unicorn Academy (chapter book series) as well as the DogMan books (more like comic book style).
>I also recommend The *Princess in Black* series! My daughter loved them around that age. They’re fun, adventurous, and the illustrations help keep interest up. They’re also quick reads, which can build confidence fast.
I highly recommend the Lumberjanes graphic novel series.
