Books like Swordheart but with a little more spice?

Hello, I really liked Swordheart which had likeable characters, good chemistry, banter, and characters that didn't feel tropey or basic. I'm wondering if anyone knows any more books like it but with a little more smut? Not too much, I still want it to have a good plot, but anything with a good amount of building sexual tension while having non-tropey characters would be great. Bonus points if it has some humour.

To clarify, I'm very new to reading romantasy, and I realise its very easy to pick up, so its a good filler for the days where I don't feel like reading anything that requires much attention. I don't know what most of the genre is like, but I've stayed away from it mainly because I'm very uninterested in the "overly protective/jealous brooding male" and "innocent lively and sassy female" trope if they're not well-written, so I'd like to avoid any recs like that.
