I mostly read serious contemporary fiction and classics so I want to find somwthing light and breezy, but every time I'm starting reading something hyped (Emily Henry's "Funny Story", "Cinnamon bun cafe", Bramble falls series, "I hope it finds you well" by Natalie Sue) – I just hate it, as I don't find it funny or appealing to me.

In the past the books that I really enjoyed were "Playing with Matches" by Hanna Orenstein, "Happy and you know it" by Laura Hankin and "Landline" by Rainbow Rowell. Have been trying to find that energy in a book, but really can't 🙁 I like drama, don't mind some spice (unless it's awkward and forced), but i just want to really enjoy the characters and the writing!

p.s. as for workplace drama, I really enjoyed "E" by Matt Beaumont, have been looking for a snarky book like that ever since ;D
