“All Quiet on the Western Front” is an absolute war classic considered one of the greatest if you haven’t read it already. Got gifted it around your age and I couldn’t put it down, changed my life. WW1 and semi biographical from the authors experiences as a soldier. Also some great film adaptations of it as well.
Also really recommend “The Things they Carried”, a definitive Vietnam War book by Tim O’Brien also read that in highschool. Recently read “For Whom the Bells Toll” by Hemingway, it’s a classic about the Spanish Civil War, struggled to get through it sometimes but by the end became one of my favorite war books.
