So, as the title suggests, I want to annotate a book for my girlfriend as a christmas present. I had already ordered Wuthering Heights and was intending to use that, but after reading a few summaries about it I’m not sure I want to gift her that book. Are there any other good books (maybe with a love story in them, but it doesn’t have to be the main focus) I can annotate for her that she’ll love?
She isn’t a particularly avid reader, although she reads occasionally. So I’m trying to avoid thick books bc I want it to be easier for her to get into. I’m into classics so I was trying to find something similar to that so it feels more personal, and I want to try and get a book that’s meaningful. Any suggestions are appreciated!
