For example – Henry Viii only became king because his older brother died. I think it's so interesting to think about the course history would have taken if one person lived instead of dying.
Are there any books with that as the premise?

11/22/63 – Stephen King
The Chronicles of St Mary’s
Not a book so I’ll keep this brief – I just wrote a counterfactual ..
“If Hamilton Had Lived — The U.S. and Venezuela as Early Hemispheric Allies”
Main ideas – Hamilton was in correspondence with Miranda, who influenced Bolivar.
Napoleon’s rise in Europe leads USA to lend strong support to Latin American independence and we become strong allies thereafter .. Monroe Doctrine becomes Hamliton Doctrine.
