i am looking for supernatural horror book recommendations. ghosts, cryptids, monsters, and the like. i don’t particularly like zombies, but they’re ok as well.
i do NOT like stephen kings writing. i’ve tried several of his books and i find them uncomfortable.
i also prefer a female protagonist, simply because i listen to audiobooks while i work out and i find a female narrator more pleasant to listen to.
