I read all of Stormlight books this year and I really enjoyed the part where magic was born again in a way. Currently on my last First Law book and as much as I love them for many different reasons, the fact that magic is much more rare and is being forgotten makes me want to read more books where it’s just being discovered. For example books where a new type of magic is discovered or a new application. Or where it was forgotten and emerged again after centuries. I do love books where there’s some kind of training with either fighting or mastering the arts involved too. It doesn’t have to have all of it combined, but would love to get some suggestions that explore such things.
