I'm interested in books about any cultures or fairytales or folklore/folktales. Think stuff like ancient Egypt or ancient Greek. Or Finnish or Swedish or any country's folklore about fairies or whatever hides in the woods. Or even stuff from the stone age or later like Michelle paver's books.
HOWEVER i don't want it to be nonfiction or a biography or something like that. Like I want a story about someone meeting trolls or fairies or mumies or whatever.
I tried to explain as well as I could, sorry. And thank you.

The Winterknight trilogy by Katherine Arden. Historical fantasy fiction blend set in medieval Russia and including a lot of elements of Russian folklore.
Maybe the Mists Of Avalon? Some mythology elements in there that are actually quite fun, though I’m not sure if that’s exactly it
On Raven’s Wing by Morgan Llywelyn is an excellent retelling of Irish mythology.
The Hobbit, & The Lord Of The Rings. Also The Silmarillion if you end up reading the first two mentioned.
The Ghost Bride by Yangsze Choo
Water Moon by Samantha Sotto Yambao
If you like horror, The Burial Tide by Neil Sharpson is Irish Mythology and so good!
