I put sci fi as the flair because it’s my favorite genre, but I’m also open to fantasy, thrillers, mystery, etc as long as it’s super interesting. I’m trying to get back into reading but it’s hard to make it a habit even when I’m invested in the story. So recommend me the books you couldn’t stop reading! As long as it’s not super corny or cliche-y. My past favorites include dune, chaos walking, dragonflight, their eyes were watching god, and hamlet (even though it’s a play). I don’t really like wartime books, but historical is okay. Also please nothing with gratuitous violence against women or children!

Dungeon crawler carl series by Matt dinniman and recursion by Blake crouch have been two of my favorites this year.
Another series is the hierarchy (will of the many and strength of the few). The second book just came out but the first one I was up all night reading because how locked in I was.
