Looking for some new options! Kiddo loves the Secret Explorers series (SJ King), the questioneers chapter books, Zoey and Sassafras, Nate the Great. Length doesn’t matter much, but they like books where kids solve a problem, with absolutely minimal interpersonal conflict. Fantasy is ok, but best if its very systematic/explained (do I dread the Tolkien years? A little). Thanks for your ideas!

Trapped in a Video Game books are really fun!
If underwater adventure calls to you, ‘Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea’ by Jules Verne is the book to pick. Captain Nemo’s journey aboard the Nautilus explores the depths of the ocean and the breadth of human curiosity. It’s a masterpiece that combines adventure with scientific wonder.
The Kingdom of Wrenly books are great.
