My team will have lots of smart and professional people. Most probably have degrees or would be going to school simultaneously. I like to empower people, I don't have the stamina to micromanage anyone. It's also my first time doing this in a large company and I already feel imposter-ish. Lastly, I don't want to become another corporate lackey.
I'm also commuting a bit of a trip, so looking for a good book to listen to.

I’m not sure about books tbh but has your new employer got any kind of mentoring programme? That would be useful.
I read *High Output Management* by Andy Grove when I was probably too early in my career but it stuck with me and is often considered the wisest book on management around, even in nontech fields.
I’ve also enjoyed Simon Sinek’s books but they’re less profound once you read a lot of management stuff.
