Hi everyone,
I'm really fascinated by unusual, eccentric, and relatively little-known historical figures—those people who lived extraordinary, unique, or downright strange lives but aren't always well known or covered in typical history books (eg. Yasuke, Lord Minimus, Dick Turpin, and so on).
I’m looking for recommendations of books or anthologies that gather stories about such characters. Ideally, these would be collections of biographies, essays, or historical fiction focused on fascinating oddballs, rebels, adventurers, or misunderstood figures throughout history.
If you know of any books that feature these kinds of stories, please share your suggestions!
Thanks in advance!
