I’m a 3rd-year Computer Engineering student trying to improve my mindset, discipline, and overall direction. I’ve realized I need stronger boundaries, more confidence, and better focus on my own goals, both personally and in my career. I’ve always been a bit of a “nice guy,” too concerned with how others react and not assertive enough about what I want.
Books recommended to me so far include The Courage to Be Disliked, Atomic Habits, and So Good They Can’t Ignore You. I’d love to hear from people who dealt with similar issues and found books that actually helped them become more disciplined, assertive, and clear about their career path.
Serious recommendations appreciated.
