As winter comes upon us I’m looking for a thriller/horror set during the winter (bonus points if it’s in a remote cabin/area during a blizzard or something). I’ve heard The Terror by Dan Simmons is awesome but any other recs would be great. TYIA.

Moon of the Crusted Snow by Waubgeshig Rice has haunted me since I first read it two years back. It’s about a remote indigenous reservation surviving the first winter after a technological blackout cuts them off from the world. The sequel, Moon of the Turning Leaves, is just as good
