hello, I’m in a reading slump and I’d love some books that contain the following:

not too long in length

very gripping, unable to put down. I want something that is so enjoyable to read that it makes the rest of the day more bearable so I’d love a book that feels rewarding to read, not slow paced

any genre is fine but nothing too disturbing. Child and animal abuse is a no go

The Glass Castle by Jeannette Walls
I suggest looking into the Destroyer series by Murphy & Sapir.
Not sure how you feel about sci-fi and stores like IKEA, but I would recommend Finna by Nino Cipri
