I’m looking to dive into some truly thought-provoking books. the kind that stick with you long after you’ve finished them. I’m open to any genre (fiction, nonfiction, philosophy, sci-fi, psychology, whatever!) as long as the book challenges ideas, sparks reflection, or offers a unique perspective on the world.
Anything that leaves you saying “I need to talk to someone about this”
If you have any recommendations that really made you think, I’d love to hear them.

1984, Animal Farm or Fahrenheit 451
*The True Believer: Thoughts on the Nature of Mass Movements* by Eric Hoffer.
*Hitler: The Policies of Seduction* by Rainer Zitelmann.
Hamnet got to me in a way a book hasn’t been able to in a long time. My husband had to hold me after I finished reading because I was sobbing so hard.
I can’t stop thinking about it, or recommending it. Even got a bunch of friends to see the movie adaptation with me next week because of how passionate I was towards the book.
Frankenstein
A few in particular stick out from my reads this year:
– Martyr!
– James
– The Unbearable Lightness of Being
– Bless Me, Ultima
Make your bed.
