Could someone recommend a book series which is slow burn, but like, proper slow burn?

I’m talking like, the kind of slow burn where there is tension but nothing actually happens until you’re at least a few books in.

Also, when you’re recommending, could you make sure not to say which book in the series the romance progresses as I want to be surprised.
