Hi, im trying to find good birthday gifts for my very litterate wife. I my self am a dabler, though i dont read nearly as much as her. We just resently got a son, so gifts where we go out to eat or the theater is not an option these comming months. She likes fiktion, not biografies. she is deffinantly on the hardcore side of eco-feminism, but she grew up pentacostal. she does not mind long books and even though english is not her native language she reads it with delight. Old english is not here cup of tea though (moby dick never really spoke to her. we think its the language barrier) She has read many of the old russian classics as well as danish (she is danish)but she also loves ursula le guins fantasy and science fiktion. she has read octavia butler alot and dont get me startet on how much she reads for her work.
She always gives me great book for my birthday, so i would like some help to respond in kind.
i hope someone will help some random guy on the internet.

She might enjoy The Long Way to a Small, Angry Planet by Becky Chambers since she likes women sci-fi authors. This is cozier than LeGuin and Butler but a fun and imaginative read.
