I have recently read North Woods by Daniel Mason and I am currently reading The Overstory by Richard Powers and I have really enjoyed the weaving of the tales as well as the environment aspect. I also recently finished Prodigal Summer by Barbara Kingsolver which had a similar nature / connective story. Are there any books similar to those three that are great reads ? TIA! Also I couldn’t change the typo in the title. Sorry!

“Where The Crawdads Sing” is a novel written by an evolutionary biologist, who weaves powerful themes of natural history into her story. It was a giant bestseller a few years ago.
“Greenwood” is the obvious response
Barkskins by E Annie Proulx. Probably spelt her name wrong though.
These are my top 2 favorite books ever! Books I’ve recently enjoyed in a similar vein where the natural environment is a “main character” are Cloud Cuckoo Land (Anthony Doer) and Thirteen Moons (Charles Frazier). If you’re looking for nonfiction that gets at the same itch, I really like authors Ben Goldfarb, James Rebanks, and Mark Kurlansky.
