Okay, so I have a very specific niche of tropes I love in books, and I’m hoping to find more recommendations that hit the same vibes. Genre-wise, I’m obsessed with a good dystopian that has romance—bonus points for enemies-to-lovers, a light love triangle, or some fantasy elements. My absolute favorite trope is when the female lead has a power she shouldn’t have, and the love interest is a prince or someone with higher status. I know it can be overdone, but when it’s done well? I eat it up every time.
Some books that really capture this for me are Shatter Me, Red Queen, Throne of Glass, The Selection, Cinder, An Ember in the Ashes, and so many more. My 6-star reads (yes, 6 stars) include Spark of the Everflame, Powerless, Binding 13, Heartless, The Shadows Between Us, plus basically everything I already listed.

Also… I cannot get through book 2 of An Ember in the Ashes (A Torch Against the Night). No spoilers, please, but I made it about halfway before a certain event frustrated me so much I put the book down and never picked it back up.
