Trying to get into reading, where do you recommend I start?

I hate reading so much but I read Macbeth recently (I’m in high school) and seeing motifs and different themes and different interpretations were so interesting to me; I want to read an actual book for once. I’m thinking about The Stranger or Blood Meridian, right now I’m on The Children of Men.
