Ive been reading Percy Jackson for a while and it made me realize that it's better than I remember back in middle school. The second book is tougher to read but it goes smoother after that. I'm currently in the second series and just finished The House of Hades. Each book is about 300 pages per book. Tbh the first book of Heroes of Olympus series(the second series of books) is confusing but it follows the lore pretty well with a twist.
