I feel like I missed a lot of the books that came out or became popular again between maybe 2020 and now because there was just a surge of SO many. Every time I Google something like “popular fiction from the last decade” it’s all Colleen Hoover. Sorry, not sorry. Also not a fan of all of the romantasy stuff.
I like literary and just general fiction. Some that I have read and enjoyed to give you a better idea are The Ministry of Time, All the Light We Cannot See, Normal People, The Lincoln Highway (hated, but adding it so it doesn’t get suggested), and Where the Crawdads Sing. I’m sure there are more but this is all I can locate on my rotating shelf at the moment.
Any from the last 10 years or even before that I absolutely CANNOT miss? I’m not talking classics, but stuff that became popularized or re-popularized for a reason.
