I always loved reading as a kid, I've read thousands of books. Everyday my parents would have "Silent Time" where we would go into our room for several hours and do our own thing (and leave our parents the hell alone) and I would choose to read. Id check out 10 books every week from the school library, and I would have them all read by Monday. When I graduated I enlisted in the USMC but agter 8 months of my enlistment I became medically discharged and without a support group ended up on the streets for 2.5 years before I worked my way into my own home about a year ago. Im now pursueing buying all my favorite books, I read pretty much exclusively Fantasy, Science Fiction, and dystopia/post apocalyptic so I purchased all my favorite series I grew up with purchased brand new normally from B&N, or Walmart with more niche series being ordered on amazon and sometimes Thrift Books. But now im in a situation where as an adult i want to move into more mature themes. More violent, political, morally conflicting, and sensual reading material. Below is everything I currently own, and a few of what I want to own and id like more suggestions. Im not against romance but prefer a POV from a males side (a male who isn't a douche) and i also really like monsters, mythology, superpowers and such. Any books you would recommend? I prefer long series as I read very quickly and I want something to digest for a substantial amount of time. Here is my list of what I own

It looks like you don’t have The Expanse series on your list. I highly recommend these if you like sci-fi, want more adult, male perspective, and lots of story that stays good through the end.

      Justin Cronin’s Passage trilogy

      The Magicians

      Murderbot Diaries

Priory of the Orange Tree and its subsequent books

Wool, Shift and Dust by Howley (silo tv show)

    3. On eBay I buy a lot of books from the seller second.sale and they usually have a buy 3 get 1 deal going. This week I ordered 4 books in great condition for less than $13

I encourage using the library; for a scifi fan check out the Hugo and Nebula winners and nominated lists for the best of the genre.

I can’t help with suggestions but I am also a physical book person and almost exclusively but from thriftbooks – great, easy to use app, great pricing, a rewards program, too
